Responsibilities

• The candidate, with a strong orientation to goals and objectives , will be responsible for the implementation and the administration of Open Source systems, as follows:
• Installation, configuration and administration of Web, Database and Email Server
• Installation, configuration and administration of backup systems as well as monitoring and alerting tools
• Documentation and reporting about tasks and systems

Requirements

• 4 years experience as Linux/Unix System Administrator
• Exhibited knowledge of Linux/BSD operating systems (debian, RHEL, ubuntu, *BSD)
• Long term use of versioning systems (CVS), both as user and as administrator
• Good knowledge of clustering systems (Linux HA, Load Balancing, LVS)
• Good knowledge of wikis (TWiki)
• Good knowledge of network protocols (routing/firewalling)
• Basic knowledge of relational database (MySql, PostgreSQL) and directory services (LDAP)
• Proficient in English language
• Degree in Informatics Engineering or comparable degree is welcome
